New Logo, New Site

Here is one of the concept logos I created for what will soon be my new portfolio+blog website.If you’re curious about the name, Disquisit is a shortened version of “disquisition” which means an examination of a subject or discussion. So in essence, Disquisit is about short ideas or questions (the big “Q”) on design and design research. Because I’m also tucking in a portfolio section into the format, I wanted to add a hidden mark of personalization and identity.  This took form as the series of dots following the Disquisit mark.  The red dots spell out my initials RF in braille.  So there you have it, feel free to leave any feedback.
